Résumé: | This article presents a set of reflections to elaborate the concept of the right to the financialised city, based on the application of the emancipatory agenda of the right to the city over the processes of city production in the era of financialization. The reflections are grounded in the housing market of Chile. As a critical essay, empirical evidence is collected to expose how financialization occurs in housing. As outcome, the paper presents an application of the principles of the right to the city to the financialised urban production. |
