The acoustical insulation indicators were also obtained through computational simulation. Measured and simulated values were compared using the T-Hotteling statistical procedure (for small samples), indicating that the results from those two different sources were identical or very similar. No presente trabalho foi medido in situ o isolamento acústico em 11 residências. Os índices de isolamento acústico medidos entre cômodos e de fachada de todas as residências avaliadas apresentaram valores abaixo dos recomendáveis para conforto acústico pela norma alemã DIN 4109. Os índices de isolamento acústico foram também obtidos, via simulação computacional. Os dados medidos e simulados foram submetidos à análise estatística de T-Hotteling (pequenas amostras), pela qual se indicou que os resultados obtidos in situ e simulados são similares ou iguais.
