The term Expresional Drawing is used to describe fast manual graphical representations, replacing the terms sketch, sketch, sketch and rap (rough). The text also presents information from an experimental research, which aims to contribute to the culture of drawing practice as an auxiliary tool in the generation of ideas, during a process of problem solving, with the aim of benefiting areas such as Architecture and Design. RESUMEN El presente trabajo tiene el objetivo de presentar por medio de investigación bibliográfica el dibujo, específicamente aquel realizado manualmente de modo rápido, buscando aclarar sus características y contribuciones a la creatividad. El término Dibujo-Expresional se adopta para describir las rápidas representaciones gráficas manuales, en sustitución de los términos sketch, bosquejo, croquis y rafe (rough). El texto también presenta informaciones de una investigación experimental, que pretende contribuir con la cultura de la práctica del dibujo como herramienta auxiliar en la generación de ideas, durante un proceso de resolución de problemas, con el objetivo de beneficiar áreas como la Arquitectura y el Diseño. RESUMO O presente trabalho tem o objetivo de apresentar por meio de pesquisa bibliográfica o desenho, especificamente aquele realizado manualmente de modo rápido, buscando esclarecer suas características e contribuições para a criatividade. O termo Desenho-Expressional é adotado para descrever as rápidas representações gráficas manuais, em substituição dos termos sketch, esboço, croqui e rafe (rough). O texto também apresenta informações de uma pesquisa experimental que visa contribuir com a cultura da prática do desenho como ferramenta auxiliar na geração de ideias durante um processo de resolução de problemas, com o intuito de beneficiar áreas como a Arquitetura e o Design.
