Description
Résumé:This article addresses the participation of children in public administration and urban development, and whether it provides benefits or not. The methodology of this research is based on the analysis of several primary and secondary sources required to understand the subject and its respective justification. Additionally, the benefits and problems involved in the participation of children are studied. Furthermore, the methodology used in different international and national cases, and the way they managed to conduct a research with the help of children despite the different scenarios where they were, are analyzed. The current situation of Peru regarding the participation of children in different projects is examined. Finally, the study concludes by answering why cities should include the participation of children in their government plan and what are the long-term effects resulting from that activity.
