Résumé: | Although, for decades, the widespread use of the automobile, as a means of transportation in cities, has been questioned, and today many cities focus on calming traffic with policies restricting the use of the automobile, in the city of Lima the current mobility model prioritizes private motorized modes, despite the fact that the majority of the population travels by public transport. The purpose of this article is to show the social time that Lima’s people lose because of the transport system, whether they travel by car or by public transport. |
