| Resumo: | The public space as a social area that invites users to the development of multiple activities, is also an utopian territory of possibilities, where dreams and improvements for society are imagined. The relationship between the public space and its inhabitants determines the factors that lead to its trans-formation from a utopian basis. Since the public space of the informal city does not adequately respond to the needs that society presents, the conscious participatory design, which takes into account the opinion andideals of those who use the space, allows obtaining a product that satisfies demands effectively. |
