Know the main events that have marked this property throughout its years built. Finally, it reflects on its current state of conservation, making a meticulous survey of the main alterations and deterioration that it currently presents, as a result of the lack of maintenance and the neglect to which it has been subjected in recent decades. El objetivo de este artículo es presentar la antigua vivienda Mantica Abauza, inmueble que hoy día se conoce como Casa Museo Julio Cortázar, un ejemplar representativo de la arquitectura habitacional del Siglo XX, así como su influencia estilística y su permanencia en el antiguo centro histórico de la ciudad de Managua. Conocer los principales acontecimientos que han marcado a este inmueble a lo largo de sus años edificado. Finalmente, se reflexiona sobre su estado actual de conservación, haciendo un levantamiento minucioso de las principales alteraciones y deterioros que le presenta en la actualidad, producto de la falta de mantenimiento y el abandono al que ha estado sometido las últimas décadas.
