description The text raises the need to recover the dialogue on the initial teaching of design in the faculty of architecture, in this attempt a review is made on the discipline of Basic Architectural Design, with the intention of putting in value the contributions of teachers who contributed to the school that we say today is a Faculty, but one that would still be under construction. - They are also outlined features of the evolution of the discipline to be recognized as Architectural Composition in the new teaching plan. The plot notes of this task are recorded in relation to the current needs of our productive context and more specifically in relation to the task of initiating the student in the design or field of visual arts, expression and communication. In this effort, the academic influences of countries such as Germany, Cuba, Mexico, and Russia are recognized, a tangible subject in the recurrent bibliographical consultation, which since the 1980s infected the teaching field with references coming to our Nicaraguan context through the aforementioned countries, from Germany and Russia, and more specifically from the pedagogical context that emerged in the training institutes of applied arts and architecture, known as Bauhaus and Vjhutemás.The essay insists on the importance of the specific reflection of our particular process of teaching and teaching experience in order to avoid repeating incessantly acts of refoundation that only lead to the loss of the patrimony attained, an issue that plunges us into an inventive maelstrom that has no disciplinarian grip of rank scientific and universal recurrent way to pull the effort! which leads us not to systematize and even less to transmit the foundations that would allow the construction and management of our own development, born in our culture.

El textoplantea la necesidad de recuperar el dialogo sobre la enseñanza inicial del diseño en la facultad de arquitectura, en este intento se hace una reseña sobre la disciplina del Diseño Básico Arquitectónico, con la intención de poner en valor los aportes de docentes que contribuyeron a la escuela que hoy decimos es una Facultad, pero que todavía estaría en construcción-.También son esbozados rasgos de la evolución de la disciplina hasta ser reconocida como Composición Arquitectónica en el nuevo plan de enseñanza. Los apuntes argumentales de esta tarea son anotados en relación con las necesidades actuales de nuestro contexto productivo y más específicamente en relación con la propia tarea de iniciar al alumno en el diseño o el campo de la plástica, expresión y comunicación visual. En este esfuerzo son reconocidas las influencias académicas de países como Alemania, Cuba, México, Rusia, asunto palpable en la recurrente consulta bibliográfica, que contagiaron desde los años 80, el ámbito docente con las referenciasvenida a nuestro contexto nicaragüense a través de los citados países, desde Alemania y Rusia, y más específicamente del contexto pedagógico surgido en los institutos de formación de las artes aplicadas y arquitectura, conocidos como Bauhaus y Vjhutemás. El ensayo insiste en la importancia de la reflexión específica de nuestro particular proceso de enseñanza y experiencia docente para evitar repetir incesantemente actos de refundación que solo llevan a perder el patrimonio alcanzado, asunto que nos sumerge en una vorágine inventiva que no tiene asidero disciplinar de rango científico y universal ¡recurrente manera de tirar los esfuerzo! que nos lleva a no sistematizar y menos aún a transmitir los fundamentos que permitirían la construcción y gestión del desarrollo propio, nacido en nuestra cultura.
