總結:This article presents the contexts in which a group of Latin American students undertook urban planning studies in Paris, between the mid-l920s and the beginning of WWII. To this end, in addition to a complete historiography of the key institutions and characters of the French panorama in the era under study, it also presents unedited material that forms part of the sets of degree course specifications under which a total of eleven Latin Americans (of five different nationalities) obtained their diploma from the Institut d'Urbanisme de l'Université de Paris (IUUP). During the interwar period, this institute stood out as an international leader in urban planning education, and its prestige was based not only in the development of a multi-disciplinary and scientific formation, but also in the recognition its professors earned for their research and practice, including architects Bonnier and Jaussely, jurists Bruggeman and Burdeau, and economists Gide and Oualid, among others.
