الملخص:The modern architectural and urban footprints are studied in relation to the contemporary landscape of Osorno, Chile, in order to understand the current implications of their distinctive features, from a perspective of sustainable development. Founded in Hiernaux, Mondragón and Aliste, and from the documentation of the period, the Transformation Plan of Osorno (1930) is interpreted, in its areas of public space and building modes. Likewise, intentional photographic records of these traces present in the contemporary city are made. With the information obtained, the situation of the prints in relation to the contemporary context is critically interpreted. We conclude that the Transformation Plan of Osorno proposed a non-rupturist modernization path that, together with maintaining links with the local heritage, made it possible to materialize modern architectural and urban practices, with emphasis on public spaces, whose footprints, still relevant in the city, have assisted the sustainable evolution of Osorno.
