Sumario:The Sierra Morena neighborhood will be located on the south-eastern urban edge of the city of Bogotá and contains traces of a past and present marked on sidewalk recordings that transform a natural environment, a cause of settlements of communities that found in it, strategic characteristics to survive. This project offers a new perspective regarding the role of architecture in terms of collective space, as a project response to situations of quality of life in the engravers of unstructured sectors, from the application of the research framework from the theory of New Urbanism, where walkability is validated in qualitative design terms as a strategy that impacts the social construction of the urban edge. A comprehensive urban project is designed for the resignification of the existing urban fabric that articulates the different functional systems and that combines rural urban practices.
