The Caracas Avenue appears as a historical text to read and to interpret. With this road it is contributed to modernize the city and a frontier is set among social classes. The aspirations of the emergent elite are completed as a search to transform urban space in the way of a beautiful park way, a ravine, a boulevard or a garden avenue. La ciudad tomada como un producto social que guarda imágenes de todas sus épocas y además de servir de ente regulador de un espacio geográfico y de un conglomerado de habitantes, guarda las experiencias, ilusiones y deseos de una élite que de alguna forma, la va trasformando acorde con sus intereses económicos, políticos y percepciones estéticas. La Avenida Caracas aparece como un texto histórico para leer e interpretar. Con esta vía se contribuye a modernizar la ciudad y se perfila una frontera entre clases. Se cumplen las aspiraciones de una elite emergente que pretende trasformar el espacio urbano a la manera de un hermoso park way, una rambla, un bulevar o una avenida jardín.
