Riassunto:The convent of the Franciscan Conception of Toledo (World Heritage City, Spain), has been conceived and built considering various bioclimatic strategies that can be grouped according to their scale: urban, architectural and detail. Among them: the predominance of the south and east orientations in facades; The disposition of the built bodies, of average compactness, favoring the porosity of the whole and the use of walls of mixed factory of masonry and brick of great thermal inertia. These constructive resources have made possible for centuries an interior climate in the convent protected from the rigors of external weather. From these conditions, interior comfort can be easily achieved by using current environmental conditioning techniques.
