| Sumario: | Although to be regarded as a defining characteristic of the XXI century, population aging is a process that unfortunately is taking us by surprise. And the surprise is increased when taking into account its speed: Latin America is aging at a rate four times faster by characterizing the aging of the so-called first world countries. Therefore the issue of aging must be taken up immediately, not only by health professionals, also by professionals from different areas related to the design of those spaces that become the temporary home, and in most cases, the habitat they share even death. |
