This article addresses the possibility to recover the art status of current architecture and assess it as such, as long as it possesses the aesthetic and poetic dimension, supported by an ideological posture that gives way to a spatial materiality of symbolic nature. At the same time, the paper refers to the need for a sort of spatial education for all citizens, since an increasingly greater proportion of the planet's population today lives, uses and visits a great number of urban architectural scenarios, thus affecting sensibility, relationships and integral health. En este artículo se plantea la posibilidad de recuperar la condición artística de la arquitectura actual y valorarla como tal, en cuanto posea la dimensión estética y poética, sustentada en una postura ideológica que dé pie a una materialidad espacial de carácter simbólico. Al mismo tiempo, se perfila la necesidad de una educación espacial para todos los ciudadanos, ya que cada vez en mayor proporción, la población del planeta habita, usa y frecuenta infinidad de escenarios arquitectónicos urbanos que afectan su sensibilidad, sus relaciones y su salud integral.
