This issue, first in 2017, presents articles by authors from the Brazilian states of Rio Grande do Sul, Paraná, Minas Gerais, Goiânia and Rio de Janeiro. The diversity of institutions of origin of the authors includes the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, the Federal University of Paraná, the State University of Londrina, the Unicesumar University Center, the Federal Center for Technological Education of Minas Gerais, the Federal University of Goiás , the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro and Petrobras. Multiple areas of education were involved as Architecture, Urbanism and Civil Engineering, in the majority, and Safety Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Computer Science. Researches that diagnose the architectural design process or offer inputs for its development with greater potential for analysis and precision are presented. Emphasis is placed on the computational support, information modeling, and the application of scale models. O presente número, primeiro do ano de 2017, apresenta artigos de autores dos estados brasileiros do Rio Grande do Sul, Paraná, Minas Gerais, Goiânia e Rio de Janeiro. A diversidade de instituições de origem dos autores abrange a Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul, a Universidade Federal do Paraná, a Universidade Estadual de Londrina, o Centro Universitário Unicesumar, o Centro Federal de Educação Tecnológica de Minas Gerais, a Universidade Federal de Goiás, a Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro e a Petrobras. Múltiplas áreas de formação foram envolvidas como Arquitetura, Urbanismo e Engenharia Civil, na grande maioria, e Engenharia de Segurança do Trabalho, Engenharia Elétrica e Ciências da Computação. São apresentadas pesquisas que diagnosticam o processo de projeto de arquitetura ou oferecem insumos para o seu desenvolvimento com maior potencial de análise e precisão. Observa-se ênfase no suporte computacional, na modelagem da informação e na aplicação de modelos em escala.
