| Zusammenfassung: | The second issue of Volume 9 of 2018 of PARC Research in Architecture and Construction is composed of research articles and systematic literature reviews developed by researchers from the Brazilian states of Alagoas, Federal District, Minas Gerais, Pernambuco, Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo. The teaching and research institutions involved in the studies presented are Superior Center of Juiz de Fora, University of Pernambuco, University of Campinas, Federal University of Alagoas, Federal University of Brasília, Federal University of Juiz de Fora, Federal University of Viçosa and Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. In this issue, there was an inversion, compared to previously published, regarding the areas of formation of the authors concentrating in Civil Engineering, in the majority, and less in Architecture. The themes addressed in the research articles focus on natural ventilation and the environmental quality of cities, performance of vertical walls and thermo-energy simulations. The systematic literature reviews address research in generative systems in design and the perception of value in housing. Thus, inspiring the title of this editorial. |
