要約:This paper presents the results obtained at the first phase of the development of an application that integrates an existing auralization tool called BRASS (Brazilian Room Acoustic Simulator) into a popular BIM tool. The goal of the project is to obtain an integrated acoustical simulation tool to facilitate the design and decision-making process for the project of room acoustics. A unified and integrated interface avoids the need of architects and engineers to switch between applications to hear the simulation results, facilitating the design decisions. Procedures implemented by BRASS were reprogrammed in Revit to perform the auralization of rooms. The application was programmed on two environments: Dynamo scripts and a set of classes and macros programmed in C# language inside the .NET environment. The results of such integration are binaural audio files that consider the sound spatiality through head-related transfer functions, as well as the visualization of the sound source location and the acoustic field defined by the sound rays, which propagate inside the simulated environment. The article also highlights issues concerning the performance required by acoustical analysis and some aspects regarding the data classification of the parameters used in the process.
