Description
Summary:The year 2020 can be seen as one of the most complex in the 21st century and exposed unprecedented challenges globally to the scientific community. Within the scope of architecture and urbanism, this was widely felt, from new demands for chronic fighting to contagion to the construction of a sense of urgency about more egalitarian cities that are more resilient to the future's environmental transformations. Isolated in homes, however, the researchers continued to dedicate themselves to studies of the discipline. This edition is a testament to this effort, made in difficult times. In this volume, the Articles, Systematic Literature Reviews, and Communications sections covered the themes of computational architecture, environmental comfort, energy efficiency, sustainability, building information modeling, safety, and construction processes. The Dossier section discusses the past, present, and future of architecture in Brazil from a theoretical perspective.
