Sumario:Models of land use change are a tool for understanding the dynamics in the territorial system. They help establish patterns of use change determined by biophysical, socioeconomic and spatial variables, explore possible scenarios and assess the influence of policies of land use and modify the benefit of land use planning. This paper deals with the study and analysis of land use changes between the periods 1991 to 2001, and projected to the year 2010 and 2030 by Landsat satellite imagery using Geographic Information Technologies. Keywords: Dynamic change analysis, land use change, multitemporal analysis, spatial planning.
