In the first place, this article offers an hermeneutical reconstruction of both terms, and it finds in the signifier “text” a point of departure for their relationship. After this, three historically influential models of writing about architecture are identified: classicist deontologism, pragmatic deontologism and critical tradition. Following the analysis of the structure and leading ideas of each one of them, the most meaningful transversal issues are identified: modernity, city, pedagogy esthetics and subjectivity. These issues represent at the same time a reception and an attempt at overcoming the models exposed Recientes textos publicados por profesionales de la arquitectura en el contexto de Córdoba permiten una reflexión sobre la relación de la escritura con la arquitectura. En primer lugar, este artículo ofrece una reconstrucción hermenéutica de ambos términos, encontrando en el significante “texto” un punto de partida para su vinculación. A continuación, se identifican tres modelos históricamente influyentes de escritura sobre la arquitectura: el dentologismo clasicista, el deontologismo pragmatista y la tradición crítica. Luego de analizar la estructura e ideas rectoras de cada uno de ellos, se indagan los núcleos más significativos de la escritura de arquitectos y arquitectas de nuestro medio, identificando cinco núcleos temáticos transversales: modernidad, ciudad, pedagogía estética y subjetividad.
