Description
Résumé:The change of government occurred in Argentina on December 10, 2015 also brought a change of orientation of the policies of the State. The article analyzes the modifications made by this government to the housing policy. It is a comparative analysis with previous periods from a recent historical perspective and in continuity of previous works with the aim of establishing differences and similarities in the last decades. After characterizing three previous periods of the housing policy, the changes implemented by this new government are reviewed and it is concluded that for forty years the housing policy is crossed by a tension between the conceptions of social housing as right and as good of access by the rules of the market, and that the current government returns to this last vision with renewed features. While the housing deficit that affects a third of the population with minimal variations for several decades and the problems of fragmentation, polarization and urban dispersion, intensified in the 1990s, it is still awaiting a definitive solution.
