The fullfillment of these works often required international expertise an involved the participation of local architectural studies with different professional compositions either by call or contest, whose recurrence in the area supports the hypothesis of a sui geneis specialization developed in the short period that accompanied the process. Some of the projects undertaken (production plants, temporary dwellings and permanent villas) record the architectural needs of the process as an example of the degree of the involved modernization throughout a work period that started with issuance of the preliminar consulting drafts of the El Chocón-Cerros Colorados complex in 1965 and ends with the project for the Villa Permanente Alicurá in 1978, one of the last works for the sector in co-authorship of the Llauró - Urgell Arquitectos office. La modernización del proceso íntegro de la luz en Argentina involucró obras de interés público en diferentes niveles: desde la construcción y ampliación de los reactores nucleares y las usinas termoeléctricas concebidos como edificios-máquinas y la urbanización de los obradores para el proceso mismo de su construcción pero también, las “ciudades-villa” permanentes para empleados y técnicos residentes. El desarrollo de estas obras requirió del expertise internacional tanto como de la participación, por llamado o concurso, de estudios de arquitectura locales con diferentes composiciones profesionales, cuya recurrencia en el sector permite proponer la hipótesis de una especialización elaborada en el corto período que acompañó las necesidades del proceso. Algunos de los proyectos encarados, plantas de producción, viviendas transitorias y villas permanentes registran las necesidades espaciales del proceso como ejemplo de modernización puesta en marcha, a lo largo del lapso que comprende aproximadamente desde la emisión de los pliegos de consulta del complejo El Chocón-Cerros Colorados, de 1965, hasta el proyecto para la Villa Permanente Alicurá de 1978, una de las últimas obras para el sector en co-autoría del estudio Llauró – Urgell Arquitectos.
