This research directs its efforts towards the research and applicability of virtual tools that allow the optimization of the time shared between professors and students. It is encapsulate the stages or themes that may be considered is iterative, and that to be solved, will impact beneficently on learning outcomes acquired in the matter, as well as the development, advancement and increase of the contents of the subject.Keywords: Digital expression, new technologies, architecture, Cuenca, Ecuador. Para hacer frente a los retos educativos del nuevo milenio, se propone incursionar en un modelo de aprendizaje basado en recursos multimedia y aplicarlo al grupo de estudiantes que cursan la cátedra de Expresión Digital I en la Facultad de Arquitectura y Urbanismo de la Universidad de Cuenca.Esta investigación dirige sus esfuerzos hacia la búsqueda y aplicabilidad de herramientas virtuales que permitan la optimización del tiempo compartido entre docentes y estudiantes. Se trata de encapsular las etapas o temáticas que pueden considerarse iterativas, y que al ser solucionadas, repercutirán benéficamente en los resultados de aprendizaje adquiridos en la materia, así como en el desarrollo, avance e incremento de los contenidos de la asignatura.Palabras clave: Expresión digital, Nuevas Tecnologías, Arquitectura, Cuenca, Ecuador.
