Samenvatting:This article intends to contribute to a global and long-term perspective about the process of territorial approximation of the province of Buenos Aires during a formative period of the National State. This is taken from a search in the territorial representation that arises from the visual records of that jurisdiction in the years 1830,1831,1864,1890. Having this as a starting point, the following questions arise:Which continuities and fractures do the different visible temporalities in each register assume? As regards the process of plan production, who made them and what role did they play? Which role did this technical-administrative entities play as intermediate instances between the highest levels of power and the different social actors? Lastly, how was the definite configuration of the territorial borders of the Bonaerense State solved while the National State was consolidating?
