This is correlative of a parallel evolution in the realm of philosophy, with the abandonment of Structuralism and the rise of Deconstruction. La obra del arquitecto Peter Eisenman da un giro radical en sus planteamientosfilosóficos a partir del proyecto House X (1975), donde se pasa de una estrategia proyectual centrada en el objeto, a una donde el significado y la participación del sujeto en la lectura del edificio son integrados en la concepción de la obra. Esto es correlativo de una evolución paralela en el ámbito de la filosofía, con el abandono del estructuralismo y el surgimiento de la deconstrucción.
