La luz y su contraparte, la sombra, son elementos fundamentales que definen a la arquitectura. Tanto por su fuerza emocional como por sus cualidades físicas, modifican totalmente la experiencia de las personas. Ambos elementos cambian constantemente con el tiempo, son efímeros. Sin embargo, las emociones generadas permanecen en nuestra memoria. Su gran riqueza reside en que son materiales que construyen el espacio, que le imprimen movimiento y que dejan huella en quien lo habita.
