Through the use of these terms, this essay analyzes the local construction of feminities in San Miguel Teotongo, their resistance and expression in urban spaces. Este artículo presenta un análisis de las ideas que han construido la categoría de género y las feminidades desde la ilustración hasta el pos-estructuralismo. La idea central es entender el feminismo como una construcción sociocultural que transita desde el reconocimiento de una mujer universal de corte occidental hacia la idea de las mujeres en diversidad de luchas emancipadoras. Bajo dichos términos,se realiza un estudio respecto de la construcción local de las feminidades en San Miguel Teotongo, sus resistencias y su manifestación en la espacialidad urbana.
