Descripció
Sumari:Despite its traditional classification as a minor discipline, or as a degeneration of true artistic expression, caricature has been of special interest to artists and has recently been reevaluated by historians of modern art. Ernst Hans Josef Gombrich, following in the footsteps of Ernst Kris and earlier historians, considers caricature to be a paradigmatic example of the prevalence of the recognition of likeness in graphic representation.
