El triunfo de la voluntad ciudadana que, a través de la apropiación del viejo aeropuerto de Berlín Tempelhof, resistió a la presión inmobiliaria y logró con un referendo mantener íntegro el carácter público del lugar, abre un espacio de reflexión sobre los claroscuros de la planeación colaborativa neoliberal y la participación simulada, además ofrece lecciones y advertencias para el redesarrollo de los grandes baldíos intraurbanos de carácter público, asunto de gran relevancia para la ciudad actual.
