Samenvatting:This article aims to go past the monographic studies of individual magazines in order topresent a general analysis of the Latin American content covered in the European media inthe decades following World War Two. Along with the magazines from the continent’s mostimportant publishing centers – France, England and Italy – it also studies the Spanish media, which was distinguished from the rest by its explicit preference for Mexican architecture overBrazilian architecture, the latter of which was of more interest in other European countries.
