Crynodeb:Thematic architectural exhibitions have defined careers and entire movements. The interests explored at the Venice Biennale and other internationally influential exhibitions have set the agenda for the in-depth study and eventual realization of the ideas presented within. This article explores the collective interest in novelty at the 7th International Architecture Exhibition in 2000 and the 2006 MoMA exhibition On-Site: New Architecture in Spain and their effects on the international economic and political environment, as well as their specific consequences in Mexico.
