The churches of the holiday cities that were built in different parts of the country are examined in this paper, analyzing in detail the project strategies aimed at making it possible to use them outdoors. A mediados del siglo XX en España, la Obra Sindical de Educación y Descanso del régimen franquista asumió el difícil reto de organizar el reposo y el veraneo de los trabajadores del país, y con ello, el de garantizar las obligaciones del culto cristiano durante los meses estivales. En este trabajo se presentan las iglesias de las ciudades de vacaciones que se ejecutaron en diferentes puntos del país, y se analizan a detalle las estrategias proyectuales dirigidas a posibilitar su uso desde el exterior.
