Nuestra ciudad, con sus características excepcionales, su materialización textual de los fundamentos teóricourbanísticos que se emplearon en la conquista y colonización española, su Centro Histórico, su tradición, su historia, su paisaje y sus relaciones de integración con la naturaleza representan una faceta de la memoria colectiva de la humanidad y marcan unas constantes de valor.
