Such altarpiece, located in the late nineteenth century, after the demolition of the convent, in the Chapel of the Candelaria in Guarenas —a village on the outskirts of the capital— is made by combining fragments of three other former altarpieces, the most of whom had originally placed in one of the aisles of the temple disappeared from Caracas. The proposed methodology studies the geometry and shape of the piece to make assumptions about their initial location within the virtual space of the Church of San Jacinto eighteenth century. This process is complemented by checking perspective and digital techniques such as Augmented Reality, allowing us to verification in situ. Universidad Diego Portales 2016-12-01 info:eu-repo/semantics/article info:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersion application/pdf https://www.revista180.udp.cl/index.php/revista180/article/view/320 10.32995/rev180.Num-38.(2016).art-320 Revista 180; Núm. 38 (2016): RUINA Y FUTURO Revista 180; Núm. 38 (2016): RUINA Y FUTURO 0718-669X 0718-2309 spa https://www.revista180.udp.cl/index.php/revista180/article/view/320/307 Copyright (c) 2016 Revista 180 https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0
