The objective is to investigate the effect that this trip had on his work and to explore its potential influence on Chilean art. It is also a progress of a broader research project that revolves around the question of travel in the history of art, through images, books and documents that account for more complex relationships of mobility —exchange and influence; reversibles, crossed or untimely—, with multiple directions and in different routes.
