Gaia:Images are powerful weapons of resistance and catalysts of experience that allow us to work about our past-present. Starting from the problematization of historical representation, in this proposal we link images and images of the visual arts with historiography, crossing and intertwining the specialties in order to generate new reflections and knowledge in their communicating vessels. Methodologically we work in the inter and transdisciplinary, through thinking with images leads us to walk between their visual ties.To articulate our proposal, we take as case studies diverse fragments of the history and symbolic-visual, cultural-identity images of Chile –linked to the “homeland” and ancestral origin– for from its confluences, as well as possible epistemic resistances, revising, constructing and de-constructing the official narratives with the ultimate aim of contributing to the articulation of methodologies for rewriting stories.
