Within this framework, and based on Stan Allen ́s text Urbanismo Infraestructural (Infrastructural Urban Planning), three categories of study are established. First, Flow Systems, reviews concepts and case studies from the perspective of flow systems, movement networks and architectures that use them as project material. Field Conditions, studies two cases, Berlin Haupstadt and PotteriesThinkbelt, as settings for a new way to build the place itself, supported by infrastructural systems, to generate solutions that leave the system open to new developments and possibilities. Lastly, Infrastructural Architecture and Urban Planning takes as a case study Japanese stations and associated malls, as they are settings where certain conditions are concentrated and expand, thus creating new types and new spatial and programmatic possibilities. El artículo explora conceptualmente las nociones de arquitectura, urbanismo e infraestructura, con el fin descubrir estructuras capaces de integrar las tres dimensiones. En ese marco, y apoyándose en el texto de Stan Allen, Urbanismo Infraestructural, se es- tablecen tres categorías de estudio. En primer lugar, Sistemas de Flujos, revisará conceptos y casos de estudio desde la óptica de los sistemas de flujos, las redes de movimiento y arquitecturas que ensayan con ellos como material del proyecto. Condiciones de campo estudia dos casos, Berlin Haupstadt y Potteries Thinkbelt, como escenarios de una nueva forma de construir el lugar mismo, apoyado en sistema infraestructurales, para generar soluciones que dejen abierto el sistema a nuevos desarrollos y posibilidades. Por último, Urbanismo y arquitectura infraestructural, toma como caso de estudio las estaciones japonesas y centros comerciales asociados, como escenarios donde unas y otras condiciones se concentran y amplían, generando nuevos tipos y nuevas posibilida- des, espaciales y programáticas.
