Crynodeb: | The present paper is part of a National University of San Juan research project approved by CICITCA, which aims to establish the strategic basis for the formation of Socially Responsible Territories in Jáchal Department, San Juan, Argentina. This department is considered to be a service center of regional and international scope as it is part of the territory that makes up a local productive micro-region. Today the area’s strategic location represents a regional development challenge as it is part of two corridors - one bioceanic, which connects Brazil, Argentina and Chile, and the other of tourist interest including Valle Fertile, Jáchal and Iglesias. It seeks to meet the current and potential needs of public-private industrial, architectural and social projects generated from the demands of the territory, the productive environment and local industry, with the understanding that their problems and scenarios enable an innovative way of looking at regional development. The project proposes a prospective methodology with a comprehensive, interdisciplinary approach in line with the current Paradigm of Complexity. This makes it possible to enunciate strategic indicators and guidelines, which contribute to the formulation of innovative projects that contribute to local economic development and preserve environmental and patrimonial sustainability conditions, thus affirming the project within the social responsibility framework |
