However, it is not clear that this important economic activity has to continue following residential regulations and guidelines, which do not acknowledge its particularities. This article puts forward the necessity for a treatment of tourist peripheries and spaces, based on sustainability as a key issue for maintaining the competitiveness and dynamism of coastal areas. |
