Thus, the relation with the past is analysed through the provate and meditation spaces up to the public space representing knowledge and prestige. En el contexto de la progresiva evolución del interés por la colección en un sentido público y emblemático, se indagan los difusos límites entre los muebles y los ambientes de los edificios, entre éstos y sus extensiones a través de pórticos y patios, y de dichas extensiones con los espacios públicos de las ciudades. Se analiza así, la relación con el pasado, desde el ámbito del espacio privado para la reflexión en intimidad, hacia el ámbito del espacio público y de representación de la sabiduría y el prestigio adquiridos.
