总结:The bad conditions of public space in gated communities have had an impact on the increase of crime, as well as on the perception of insecurity, in cities such as Puebla. Particularly in the Fraccionamiento Los Héroes, located southeast of said city, it has been observed that the lack of maintenance and continuous deterioration of its public spaces have influenced the loss of social activity and the creation of optimal conditions to commit crimes, so that in 2011 has been cataloged by the authorities among the ten most insecure. Through qualitative information obtained by direct observation, surveys and key actors interviews, in a period of 16 months (October 2015 to February 2017) of field work, we sought to know and change the conditions of use of public space, especially in two of the six parks, the 119 and the guardería, to reduce the perception of insecurity through articulated work and co-responsible between the public and social sectors. The change achieved in the physical conditions of one of the parks allowed to demonstrate that the work led by young people, with ecological purposes, managed to modify the perception of insecurity and that the neighbors returned to make use of the place.
