The unique image of this settlement is very valuable and that is why it is being presented to be in the UNESCO’s World Heritage List.  La imagen de Sewell, campamento residencial-industrial de montaña, con una organización espacial escalonada en el cerro, en un territorio reducido que fue densamente poblado, y con una tipología arquitectónica resuelta en altura, de gran homogeneidad, entrelazando industria con vivienda, da una imagen particular e irrepetible de un asentamiento de excepcional valor sobre el cual hoy se tiene conciencia por lo que se promueve como un Sitio del Patrimonio Mundial UNESCO.
