Such an analysis understands housing as an inclusive and segregating object, as a source of income and as a mandatory variable in the perception of the environment that turns inhabitants into poor individuals in terms of their quality of life. Analiza antiguos planteamientos respecto a la pobreza, contrastados con un enfoque teórico más integral, el que considera diversas variables al momento de planificar el mejoramiento y/o desarrollo de asentamientos humanos de bajo nivel socioeconómico. Este análisis lo proyecta hacia la vivienda como objeto de integración y segregación social, como fuente de ingresos y como variable obligada en la percepción del medio ambiente que hace el habitante pobre respecto de su calidad de vida.
