| Resumo: | This paper analyzes the implementation of mass produced dwellings in Chile from the Ibáñez to Pinochet administrations. This contribution also describes the collapse of the global regionalization concept during the mid-1970s, which was when the cost variable prevailed over the design variable. In this way, the quality of life and regionalized housing concepts would help in understanding the transformations undergone by social housing. |
