Resumo:This paper lays the foundations for a conceptual framework that includes architectural and social elements to achieve an interdisciplinary approach to the study of urban and residential developments. Based on the main elements of the proposal made by Niklas Luhman and the notion of place, this contribution describes and analyzes the most important socio-spatial differentiation processes associated with families, neighborhoods and the community.
