Reflections on the Housing Problem Faced by the Mapuche People
This paper suggests understanding housing as a cultural product and as an example of ethnic reality. As for the Mapuche case, the authors of this research recommend the use of sociocultural values to develop housing programs tailored to the immediate social environment.

El documento expone la necesidad de considerar a la vivienda como un producto cultural. y como tal, representante de una realidad étnica adecuada a la realidad en donde se instala. En este sentido, los autores estiman necesario considerar -para el caso mapuche- los valores socioculturales que los rigen para así elaborar programas de viviendas que sean correspondientes a su entorno social inmediato.
