| Summary: | This paper is a necessary initial effort to assess the social housing topic and its development towards the year 2000. The aim is to motivate the discussion and analysis of the topics, which are central to this paper, amongst all the countries in the region. Such central topics are: assess the housing stock, assess the magnitude of its present quantitative deficit and based on this information figure out the need of investment for the 1995-2000 period based on a potential demand stratified according to social sectors. |
