Teaching, investigation, extension, and rendering of services, stopping, if necessary, to establish and review if it must be even more accurate the contributions and the quality of it, taking in consideration the Faculty, the University and the national community demands from this type of specialized centers. En el contexto de celebración de los 20 años del Instituto de la vivienda se hace una presentación y reseña resumida del rol que ha tenido esta unidad académica dependiente de la Facultad de Arquitectura y Urbanismo de nuestra universidad, en las áreas que le son propias: la docencia, la investigación, la extensión y la prestación de servicios deteniéndose, para constatar y revisar si debe ser aun más riguroso en los aportes y la calidad de los mismos que la Facultad, la Universidad y la comunidad nacional demandan de este tipo de centros especializados.
