| 总结: | This paper analyzes the role of the State in the production and reproduction of residential habitat through the implementation of housing policies. Background studies are reviewed that account for the relationship between social housing, location and its effects on the spread of urban growth and residential segregation. Subsequently, this research analyzes the evolution of residential segregation in Córdoba over the 1991-2008 period and discusses the impact of social housing programs on the dynamics of such a phenomenon. In other words this paper studies the effects of recent State programs implemented in Cordoba over the last decades which, while providing goods (dwellings), their location in peri-urban areas has prevented inhabitants from accessing the advantages of centrality (provision of goods and services) and interacting with a diverse and varied environment. Finally, this research offers some reflections on the analysis and provides considerations that should be taken into account in the formulation of future social housing projects. |
